BestoDental Workflow

Working with an overseas dental lab does not have to be complicated. At BestoDental Lab, we follow a clear and standardized workflow to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and predictable turnaround times. Below is a step-by-step guide to help you understand how a typical case moves from submission to delivery.

1. Case Submission Options

We accept cases in two formats, depending on your clinical workflow.

Option 1: Digital Scan (Recommended)

Digital scans enable faster communication and a more efficient production workflow. However, before choosing a digital submission, it is essential to ensure that your scan meets clinical and technical requirements. Inadequate scans often lead to additional clarification, repeated communication, and even remakes, which can increase coordination costs and ultimately affect turnaround time.

To help you avoid these issues and ensure a smooth collaboration with our lab, we strongly recommend reviewing the guide below before submitting your digital case.

Once your digital scan is completed and verified, the next step is to send the scan files to the laboratory.

If you are a new client, we recommend exporting the STL files directly from your scanning system and sending them to our lab. This method is simple, universal, and avoids potential compatibility issues between different platforms.

To ensure the files are exported and shared correctly, please refer to the tutorial below before submitting your case.

Option 2: Physical Model

For clinics or labs using traditional impressions, physical models are also accepted.

Before shipping your physical model, please refer to our Physical Model Shipping Guide for packing standards and documentation requirements.

You will need to send:

  • Physical dental model
  • Written or digital case instructions

Production review starts after the model arrives at our lab.

2. Technical Review & Case Confirmation

After receiving your digital scans or physical models, our technicians will:

  • Check margin clarity and scan quality
  • Verify occlusion, preparation, and design feasibility
  • Confirm restoration type and material selection

If any clarification is needed, we will contact you before proceeding to avoid remakes or delays.

3. Payment Structure

To maintain a smooth production schedule, we use a standard two-stage payment system:

  • 50% deposit before production begins
  • 50% balance before shipment

This structure allows us to allocate materials and production capacity efficiently while keeping the process transparent for both sides.

4. Production Timeline

Once the deposit is received and the case is confirmed:

  • Layered zirconia crown production typically takes 3–4 working days
  • Complex cases may require additional time, which will be communicated in advance

All cases go through internal quality control before release.

5. Final Check & Shipping

Before shipment:

  • Final quality inspection is completed
  • The remaining 50% balance is arranged
  • The case is carefully packed and shipped via international courier

Tracking details will be provided once the shipment is dispatched.

6. Support Throughout the Process

Our team supports you at every stage, from case submission to delivery.

Clear communication and standardized procedures help ensure consistent results and long-term cooperation.
